On the way to Asilah we visit the lighthouse of Cabo Espartel and remember the Greek mythology in the grottoes of Hercules where we can have lunch in some of the beach bars in the area and enjoy its beaches. We continue to Asilah by the coastal road, arrival and reception at the hotel. We stroll through the small medina of Asilah, white and blue, bordering the walls built by the Almohad and centuries later fortified by the Portuguese who occupied the city for a century, we arrived at the marine cemetery next to the marabout of Sidi Ahmd Ibn Musa. We leave the medina by Bab Homar where the market is installed. Dinner at leisure, hotel accommodation.

After breakfast, free time for a last stroll through the medina or the beach of Asilah, before leaving for nearby Larache, at the mouth of the Lucus River, a city with a very Spanish character, as evidenced by the castle Store, a fortification overlooking the bay, built by Spaniards in the seventeenth century. Likewise, we find the Spanish imprint everywhere, from the Place de la Liberation, known as the Spanish square, to the menus of the restaurants. Afternoon visit to the ruins of the Roman acropolis of Lucus, founded by the Phoenicians around 1100 BC, possibly as the first trading post in North Africa. Dinner and hotel accommodation.

Chaouen, settled on the slopes of Jbel Tissouka, offers the traveler an exciting journey through a maze of narrow streets, in it we penetrate through Bab al-Harmum in the Suiqa neighborhood, the oldest of the city with its artisans and merchants. We arrive at the Uta Hamman square which houses the fountain, the Great Mosque, the Alcazaba with the local museum, the Funduq and numerous terraces of cafes where tourists and locals mingle in a relaxed atmosphere. We enter the Andalusian quarter, built to welcome the second wave of Moors after 1492; going up its steep and whitewashed streets we reach the edge of the fortified enclosure, Bab al-Ansar, beyond, the “Ras al-Ma” spring that supplies water to the fountains of the medina and allows the operation of the public washing place and the mills on the left bank, which we border to reach a charming bridge where we finish the tour. Also enjoy the original and magnificent leather crafts and other products made by the craftsmen of the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
